lyrics

Another long drive to another big city
Gas tank ain't full
Wallet is skinny so pull over here and park
I see some people chilling in the sun let's play some music from the heart
While you're at it leave the guitar case open
Remember that time just outside of Oakland?
$200 in an hour and a half cuz people know what's real
And real is really where we're at!

Whohoho!
Hold the phone
Ain't it nice to just be alone
I am definitely on this side of happy
Whohoho!
On the street
Got that smile that you like to meet
I am definitely on this side of happy

Got my running shoes on walkman strapped to me
People always laughing, saying that it's funny
But I like these things from the past
The future's downloading all around us too fast
Besides, if I went and missed the side B
I might miss the party
No one would know which one is for me but me
Can't you see I could be running 'round the street thinking there's some kind of conspiracy

Whohoho!
Hold the phone
Ain't it nice to just be alone
I am definitely on this side of happy
Whohoho!
On the street
Got that smile that you like to meet
I am definitely on this side of happy

Why you trying so hard to be the winner?
Don't you know it all works out?
I know it's hard to just keep lying here watching it all fall apart!

His forthcoming LP, “I Was on the Moon” is his most ambitious in scope. It is slated for release early summer 2016.
